Project Manager - Residential RemodelingWe are seeking a talented and results-oriented Project Manager to lead high-quality, on-time, and on-budget project implementations for our clients. The ideal candidate is an experienced residential construction project manager who thrives in a low-drama, high-accountability environment. They are highly organized, self-motivated, and skilled at building strong relationships with clients and subcontractors.This role will oversee contract development and execution for our dedicated remodeling division. While this position does not involve design work, an appreciation for high-end design and craftsmanship is preferred. This position is based out of our Wauwatosa studio and requires regular local travel to job sites.Key Responsibilities:Estimate and quote high-end renovation projects, setting clear budgets to maintain throughout construction.Draft, present, and close construction contracts with clients.Develop and manage construction schedules, providing regular updates to clients and meeting deadlines.Serve as the primary point of contact for quality control and project communication.Provide updates to the design team and clients.Draft change orders and issue work orders to subcontractors.Maintain organized, clean, and secure job sites. Provide hands-on assistance when needed, including installing dust protection, floor protection, and general cleanup.Ensure exceptional workmanship, overseeing the renovation process, inspecting accuracy, and enforcing adherence to design plans and specifications.Qualifications & Skills:5+ years of experience in residential construction or remodeling.Highly organized, detail-oriented, and deadline-driven.Strong problem-solving skills, able to work directly with subcontractors, vendors, and design staff to navigate challenges.Ability to balance quality, timeliness, and budget while making sound project decisions.Thrives in a low-drama, high-accountability environment. Takes ownership of work, follows through on commitments, and fosters a collaborative, solutions-focused approach.Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with clients, designers, and subcontractors.Strong technical knowledge of architectural conventions and construction techniques.Ability to prioritize multiple projects, navigate complex situations, and stay proactive.Passion for accuracy, efficiency, and personal accountability.Strong presentation skills, comfortable working directly with clients and managing complex projects.Self-motivated and excited about growing a new division, establishing best practices, and contributing to business development.Appreciation for high-end design and craftsmanship is a plus.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and QuickBooks is a plus.Hands-on Finish Carpentry experience is a plus.This is a great opportunity for a driven, detail-oriented leader to shape a growing division within an established company.
