Must have an active and transferable DoD security clearance with current investigation at the SECRET level to start work.Job ***** Colorado Springs, COJob DescriptionAs a Senior Software Developer at X-Lab, you will be responsible for assisting with the development of Mission Data Services software, sensor integration, data reliability, addition of sensors and data, Sensor/Weapon Integration, User Interface Development into the MDS application, and other critical leading edge missile defense technologies.Required Education/**Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Math, Science, Engineering, or Software Engineering.IAT - Level II Required *Experience in object-oriented software development and testing with a minimum of 9 years in a related engineering environment.Proficiency in Java language for software development.Ability to perform complex problem resolution, design, development, testing, operational integration, and user support on systems software products.Knowledge of CI/CD pipeline creation and maintenance.Familiarity with dynamic and static analysis techniques for Mission Data Services and associated tools.Strong analytical skills to analyze high level needs and refine them into integrated sets of requirements that lead to fielded products.Excellent communication skills (written and oral) to communicate effectively, present technical approaches and findings clearly, write engineering plans within a project, and work collaboratively in a team environment.Previous experience on IRAD-type projects demonstrating comfort with rapidly changing requirements, design challenges requiring novel solutions, fast-paced activities, and tight deadlines.Experience working as part of the X-Lab software development team to develop innovative solutions for X-Lab projects and experiments.Familiarity with Link-16 is a plus but not required.Ability to design, code, test, and implement tools for operations automation.Experience interfacing with other system support groups to resolve problems, set standards, and improve overall efficiency of the operating system.Desired *In addition to the required skill list above, the ideal candidate will have some level of familiarity with the **Must be able to maintain the required clearance for duration of employment.
