Quality Assurance Automation Engineer

This role of a QA Engineer will be responsible for building automation scripts, test cases for multiple applications including web applications and Power BI reports.Are you passionate about building quality into cutting-edge software? Work within the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), aligning with Agile practices while upholding Information Security and Data Governance standards. Analyze automation test results, log defects in our issue tracking system, and partner with developers and team members to resolve issues fast. Stick to testing timelines to keep product delivery smooth and on track. Dive into Agile workflows"”join daily standups, backlog grooming, and retrospectives to keep the team aligned and moving forward.What You *Technical * minimum 8 years of hands-on software testing experience, ideally in a process-driven tech setting. Bonus points if you've worked in financial services! Coding * Proven ability to write clean, effective code in languages like Java, C#, SQL, and scripting tools like PowerShell or Bash. Automation * Experience building and running automation tests using tools like Selenium for web, desktop/native apps, APIs, or even Power BI Reports. Test * A knack for translating business needs into detailed, actionable test plans and scripts for multi-tier applications. * Sharp analytical skills to interpret results, identify defects, and collaborate on solutions.
