Senior Benefits Specialist Job Description At Supernal, were taking human possibility to a new dimension with our electric vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) vehicle and ground-to-air ecosystem. The Senior Benefits Specialist will play a key role in creating a sustainable, integrated, and human-centered benefits program that meets the high level of safety and reliability in todays air transportation system. Responsibilities: Administer all benefits and retirement programs, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short- and long-term disability, 401k plans, and employee perks. Ensure compliance with DOL, COBRA, ACA, HIPAA, FMLA, ADA, ERISA, and other applicable Federal, State, and local legal requirements. Assist with new-hire orientations, benefits claim issues, and plan changes. Perform quality checks of benefits-related data, leave-of-absence requests, and disability paperwork. Respond to benefits inquiries from managers and employees on plan provisions, benefits enrollments, status changes, and other general inquiries. Process and administer life status changes, retirement inquiries, and annual catch-up contribution enrollment. Provide necessary reports for allocation/billing charges and ensure accuracy and compliance of all benefits-related filings. Requirements: Bachelors degree in Business Administration or Human Resources related discipline. Minimum of five years of relevant experience working in a benefits administration capacity. Experience in ADP Workforce Now and extensive knowledge of employee benefits and applicable laws. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills. Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, time management skills, and ability to meet deadlines. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to prioritize tasks, and delegate them when appropriate. Ability to treat confidential and sensitive information with discretion and thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software and proficiency with or ability to quickly learn the organizations HRIS and talent management systems. Preferred Qualifications: HR certification. Experience with Zendesk and Bswift.
