BIM Technician

Seeking a full-time BIM Technician in San Antonio, TX***** 70K - 95K DOEOnsite PositionRequirements· High School Diploma or GED· Strong BIM software experience or commercial field / subcontractor electrical experience· Familiarity with Revit is preferred Day to day **· Create, modify, validate, and prepare detailed 2D and 3D construction drawings to meet the projects expectations· Creates detailed product drawings required for manufacturing· Creates field install drawings for Operations team· Has a basic understanding of how to read and navigate Blueprint drawings· Provides input to the project dashboard/tracking system· Collaborates with the Operations team and BIM support lead to insure that detailing and installation practices utilize the most efficient and effective solution· Collaborates with the Operations team and BIM support lead to review, evaluate, and maintain VDC deliverables· Provides feedback to BIM lead and Supervisor to determine areas, systems, or assemblies that can be manufactured to improve efficiency during field installations· Completes record drawings at the end of the project· Able to work on different types of construction projects including but not limited ** commercial, mission critical, healthcare, industrial, and high rise· Able to read and understand submittals for physical equipment sizing and/or layout during modelingAll qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, national origin, age, ancestry, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, marital status, disability, medical condition, genetic information, pregnancy, or military or veteran status.
