Survey and Mapping Internship - Summer 2025

KEITH is seeking a Survey and Mapping Intern to join us Summer of 2025 in our Pompano Beach, FL location to strengthen our growing firm. As a Survey and Mapping Intern, you will work alongside experienced surveyors and field crews to gain hands-on experience in land surveying practices, equipment operation, and data collection techniques. This internship offers a unique opportunity to learn about surveying methods, tools, and software while contributing to real-world projects.What youll do: Assist the field crew in performing various land surveys and measurements under the supervision of experienced surveyorsOperate and maintain surveying equipment such as total stations, GPS units, levels, and other instruments used for data collectionParticipate in fieldwork activities, including setting up surveying equipment, taking accurate measurements, and recording dataAssist in conducting topographic surveys, boundary surveys, construction layout surveys, and other related tasks as directedLearn to interpret survey plans, blueprints, and legal descriptions to ensure accurate data collectionAid in data processing and analysis using surveying software and tools under the guidance of senior staffMaintain a clean and organized work environment and ensure that equipment is properly cared for and storedAnd more!The Ideal Intern is: Pursuing a degree in surveying, geomatics, civil engineering, or a related fieldStrong interest in land surveying, geospatial technology, and construction-related disciplinesBasic knowledge of surveying principles or coursework related to land surveyingAbility to work effectively in a team environment and follow instructions from senior surveyorsStrong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to handle multiple tasksPhysical ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and terrain, often carrying equipmentCompensation:This is a paid internship programPowered by JazzHRKYtmJkGf3W
