Your expertise will be crucial in guiding clients through the loan origination process, providing them with the necessary information, support, and options to make informed decisions about homeownership. This position is ideal for someone who is passionate about helping individuals and families, particularly those from underrepresented communities, achieve their homeownership goals.Key *Work closely with low to middle-income families to understand their mortgage needs and financial goals.Advise clients on suitable loan products, explaining the benefits and features of each option.Manage the loan origination process from start to finish, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience for the borrower.Assist clients with completing loan applications, collecting necessary documentation, and navigating the approval process.Maintain clear and effective communication with clients throughout the process, providing status updates and addressing any concerns.Collaborate with internal teams and third-party vendors to ensure all conditions are met and loans are processed on time.Stay up to date on mortgage industry trends, regulations, and programs specifically targeting low-middle income families.Build and maintain strong relationships with referral partners, community organizations, and clients.**Proven experience as a Mortgage Loan Officer or Mortgage Originator, with prior loan origination experience required.In-depth knowledge of mortgage products, including FHA, USDA, and conventional loans.Experience working with low to middle-income families and a strong understanding of their unique needs and challenges.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex mortgage concepts in an understandable way.Ability to manage multiple loans and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.A customer-centric approach with a passion for helping families achieve homeownership.Valid Mortgage Originator License (or ability to obtain) and adherence to all relevant regulatory requirements.Knowledge of local housing market trends and community programs.
