To learn more about us and see out opportunities, please visit our website at The Project Manager is responsible for the support of functions related to construction management in the Electrical, Transportation, and Roadway lighting construction industry. The PM assists with the preparation of work plans, and applicable specifications, and interfaces with and provides general project support to project management professionals to ensure project success.Duties/Responsibilities:Develop knowledge of all OSHA and Lumin8 Safety requirements in roadway construction operationsEnsure compliance with safety requirements including immediate reporting of unsafe conditions and actions.Daily use of and interpretation of civil construction drawingsReview of construction plans and documents including spec docs, SOW, CDOT Road and Bridge Construction SpecsRead contract documents and be familiar with all content related to our scopeDevelop As-Builts documentation as requiredProject review and quantity take off for cost projections.Collect Daily job logs and input QTY's on billing spread sheet for review by PM. Subcontractor tracking and review of work complete, invoices and pay application payoutsAttend weekly project and operations meetings.Create RFI's and update tracking log.Progress tracking of work in the field - updates to scheduling for timing and accuracyPerform weekly review labor cost and time entry in PM absenceAssist in procurement, review and tracking of material from vendersCommunicate with and track work of subcontractors weeklyProject review and quantity take off for cost projectionsPreparation of submittals, RFIs, change management and necessary daily and weekly reporting of sameInput and mange data in Spectrum ERP daily.Assist in development of quality procedures and tracking for various projectsPerforms other duties as assignedRequired Skills/Abilities:Must be able to read blueprints and civil construction drawingsProficient working with various software programs such as Bluebeam, Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel or the willingness and ability to become proficient using these toolsMust have strong written and oral communication skillsAbility to deal with conflict in a constructive mannerMust possess strong analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skillsStrong problem-solving skills with the ability to think practically while remaining detail-orientedEducation and Experience:Minimum 1 - 3 years of experience, including internship, in the construction process of commercial electrical operations or roadway constructionBachelors degree in Construction Management, Construction Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related field. A combination of education and experience will be considered in lieu of a degreePMP, PGMP, CAPM, and/or comparable project management certifications highly desirable.Physical Requirements:Frequent lifting from 5 to 50 lbs.Occasional lifting from 51 lbs.Sustained periods of standing, sitting, walking, bending, and kneelingCompensation:This is a salaried position paying $90,000 to $125,000 per year depending on experience.
