Additional Information About the Position $4,000 Sign-On Bonus 40 hours of front-loaded Paid Time Off Job Description As a healthcare services assistant, you will perform administrative and certain clinical duties under the direction of a provider. Your responsibilities may include scheduling appointments, maintaining medical records, taking and recording vital signs, preparing patients for examination, and drawing blood. Job Requirements Education: Required: Graduation from a formal MA training program that included pharmacology class, anatomy/physiology, and completion of a clinical externship, OR graduation with an accredited Licensed Practical Nurse Diploma. Experience: Required: None Preferred: Previous experience in a healthcare setting, particularly in an ambulatory clinic setting. Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills Able to work independently and collaboratively in a team Carry out delegated tasks as directed by supervisors or with provider oversight Proficient computer skills Licensure/Certification/Registration: Required: Certification from a recognized program - CMA (AAMA), RMA (AMT), NCMA (NCCT), CCMA (NHA), NRCMA (NAHP), or LPN Must obtain American Heart Association BLS within 90 days of hire.
