Electrical Technician

Insight Global is looking for an Electrical Engineer working on site in Austin, TX and support a public-private partnership of preeminent semiconductor systems and defense electronics companies, national labs, and academic institutions. The Electrical/Mechanical Technician will fabricate, build and assemble advanced semiconductor technologies based on engineered drawings and schematics. **• Fabrication of electromechanical assemblies using hand and machine tools. • Evaluate and repair specialized electrical and mechanical assemblies. • Operation of specialized electrical test equipment. • Procuring parts and working with vendors, quality control of parts and assemblies. • Construction and encapsulation of acoustic arrays and cables. • Manual soldering/rework of surface mount components on printed circuit boards. • Fabrication of cable harness assemblies. • Prepare and maintain accurate quality and assembly documentation.Desired *4+ years of experience in the skilled construction and maintenance of specialized electronic equipment using hand and machine tools Knowledge of electronic circuits, wiring, soldering, and reading electrical schematics. Experience building electronic and mechanical assemblies including wiring assemblies. High school graduation or GED.**** $120,000 to $160,000 per year annual salary. act compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
