Come join the Bureau of Engineering Services at the City of Rochester as our Construction Project Manager! This position, which falls under the Department of Environmental Services, is responsible for coordinating all activities and supervising all staff associated with completing construction projects. If you enjoy working in both the design and construction phases of projects, are looking for wide latitude in decision-making, and want to make a difference in the City of Rochester, this position is for you!City Residency will be required within one year of hire.To qualify for this position, candidates must meet the minimum qualifications listed below:Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or possession of N.Y.S. certification for Engineer-In-Training AND two (2) years of professional civil engineering experience; systems; ORBachelors degree in Civil Engineering Technology AND three (3) years of professional civil engineering experience; ORBachelors degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering or other closely related degree AND four (4) years of professional civil engineering experience.
