It's also a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience across many facets of design work.Qualities· Detail - oriented· Excels at time management· Works well in fast - paced environment· Able to organize/manage multiple projects with various timelines · Adaptability to change· Project ManagementoGeneral ResponsibilitiesOrganize project timelines and ensure timely completion of design updates according to project deadlines.Coordinating logistics for installations, deliveries, and vendor walkthroughs.Conduct field measurements and input into AutoCAD.Conduct site visits to projects as needed for vendor walkthroughs or client check-ins.Create documentation or drawings with product specifications, including dimensions, materials, and finish details for contractors and vendors.Assist in communicating design requirements with contractors, vendors, and suppliers to ensure correct implementation of designs.Enter product into HouzzPro for procurement and tracking of materials, furniture, or labor for design projects.Place orders for product and track deliveries.Prepare invoices and collect payment from clients.Ensure that all products, finishes, and installations meet quality standards and the client's expectations.oPresentation PreparationResearch materials, furniture, fixtures, textiles, and finishes to assist designer with presentation preparation, ensuring selections align with the overall design vision.Assist with the preparation and editing of presentations and design proposals.Organize design materials, samples, and finishes for client presentations or meetings.Use design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Adobe Suite, SketchUp, Enscape, etc.) to create visuals, floor plans, and 3D renderings, and/or elevations.oInternal Office OperationsContribute creative ideas during internal brainstorming or design development sessions.Attend staff meetings and provide notes for the team to reference.Assist during photo shoots of completed projects, ensuring the space is styled according to the designers vision.Take part in continued education and skill development to grow within the design field.Keep a learning mindset and observe the team's approach to client management, problem-solving, and project execution to further your skillset.
