Catering Sales ManagerRole and ResponsibilitiesThe Catering Sales Manager is responsible for developing existing business and solicit new catering business through catering lead generation and catering sales marketing. The Catering Sales Manager will also book, sell, plan and coordinate special events while assuring the highest level of customer service.Ability to provide timely response and exceptional level of service to clientsMaintain a positive, friendly and professional manner in all interactions with clients, team members, industry vendors, etc.Prepare proposals and event orders for all events and meetings with great attention to detailUnderstand overall revenue strategy, how to evaluate business opportunitiesUse creativity to close new business and maximize revenueProvide timely follow up and communication with clients throughout sales processPost/billing for events as neededAbility to negotiate contract terms and agreementsAbility to network and form relationships within the event communityFacilitate the process from consultation all the way through event executionKnowledge and learn operations portion of event planning and managementQualifications and Education RequirementsOne year experience in Sales and Catering and/or event planningProven capability and desire to provide an exceptional level of service to clients and team membersAbility to effectively negotiate terms and agreementsAble to work a flexible schedule based on business demandsAbility to stand for long periods of timeAbility to lift at least 40lbsMust have clean driving record and reliable transportationCompensation and BenefitsWe offer a competitive salary.
