Job Title: Account Retention ManagerLocation: Los Angeles, CACompensation: $80,000 - $110,000 annually (DOE)Employment Type: Direct HireSchedule: Monday - Friday (Onsite)Position Overview: The Account Retention Manager is a client-centric professional responsible for analyzing customer history, fostering client partnerships, and ensuring customer success by acting as a liaison between sales and operations. This role is instrumental in retaining key accounts and driving revenue growth through strategic relationship management.Our client is a logistics and supply chain company that operates globally, including in California. They specialize in international freight services, supply chain management, and providing end-to-end logistics solutions. They have a presence in major logistics hubs, including Los Angeles.Key Responsibilities:Analyze customer data, segment accounts, and develop recovery strategies for core accounts.Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned customers, ensuring seamless communication between clients, sales, and operations teams.Maintain pricing structures and bid packages for key accounts.Utilize client systems to update shipment statuses, provide quotations, and manage account information.Oversee the implementation of new accounts and changes to standard operating procedures (SOPs) across branch networks.Collaborate with operations teams to develop and implement customized solutions for clients.Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and profitability.Uphold company values and business ethics in all professional interactions.Perform additional duties as assigned to meet evolving business needs.Qualifications:Minimum of 3 years of experience in the logistics or freight industry.Proven ability to influence, lead, and manage cross-functional teams.Technologically adept, with the ability to learn and adapt to various operating systems and software platforms.Strong verbal and written communication skills; fluency in English required.
