Senior Structural Duct Engineer

Job Responsibilities Organizes and maintains project-related information that includes 3D CAD models, CAD drawings, material lists and related documentationDetermines completeness of project related information and request information when necessaryWorks closely with Sales, Project Engineering and Project Management to ensure all designs are per project specifications and schedulePrepares drawings required for Customer approval, material procurement and for fabrication.Reviews drawings of peers to assure accuracy and best design practicesAssists the Engineering team in issuing project documents to the customer and fabricatorsJob QualificationsAssociate's degree in computer Aided Design or related degreeFive (5) years minimum of related engineering experienceExperience designing industrial casing plate ductwork and structural membersExperience with 3D modelingAbility to calculate lengths, distances, angles, areas, volumes Experience with Autodesk ® Inventor design software PREFERREDExperience with industrial process piping PREFERREDKnowledge of butt weld, socket weld and threaded piping systems PREFERREDWorking knowledge of P&ID development and evaluation PREFERRED
