Engineering Technician

The Ranger Group, a leading US Engineering Solutions provider to companies across the Aerospace & Defense, Medical Device, Electronics and Industrial Manufacturing industries, is currently seeking an Engineering Lab Technician for a contract-to-hire role with a Manufacturing client in the Dallas Area. This role will require work to be completed 100% Onsite.The role of the Engineering Lab Technician is to support our clients engineering lab by operating machining equipment, assembling both mechanical and electrical components, and assisting in prototyping and testing. You will play a key role in ensuring quality, accuracy, and efficiency within our engineering lab environment.Key **Operate and maintain manual and CNC machining equipment (mills, lathes, etc.).Build and assemble complex mechanical and electrical systems.Conduct testing procedures and record results accurately.Collaborate with engineers to troubleshoot and refine prototypes.Maintain a safe and organized laboratory environment.Desired ***** Proven experience operating mills, lathes, and CNC machines.***** Strong mechanical and electrical assembly background.***** Familiarity with test equipment and procedures (test technician experience preferred).Technical ***** Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and assembly instructions.***** Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
