Job ***** Data Center Electrical TechnicianJob SummaryPerform a variety of electrical trade functions to ensure optimal operation of electrical/mechanical equipment in a Data Center environment. Maintain, repair, and test equipment for electric energy generation, distribution, and utilization.Key ResponsibilitiesMaintain and repair electrical equipment, including generators, transformers, and switchboardsTroubleshoot electrical systems and equipment using blueprints, drawings, and specificationsPerform standard computations for load requirements and wiringUse various electricians hand tools and measuring/testing instrumentsEnsure compliance with safety regulationsPhysical RequirementsWork in various environments, including inside and outside, and in inclement weatherLift up to 50lbs, perform repetitive motions, and work in cramped spacesUse ladders (up to 30ft) and perform climbing and lifting tasksRequirementsHS Diploma or EquivalentSecurity Clearance (or ability to obtain)3-4 years experience in electrical facilities maintenanceJourneyman level certification or trade school completionValid Electrician License (Journeyman)Preferred QualificationsAssociates/Bachelors degree in electrical/mechanical engineering or related fieldMaster Electrician LicenseHVAC and building maintenance experienceWork ScheduleFull-time (40 hours/week)Various shifts, including Saturdays and Sundays
