Redapt is looking for a self-motivated highly experienced DevSecOps Engineer with deep experience in infrastructure solutions and services. The focus of this particular role is around maturing our security programs, enhancing DevOps practices and partnering with our development team. We are looking for a well balanced engineer with applicable hands on DevOps, Security and some development/coding experience. Ideally starting in development and have progressed up through the various DevOps and Security practices. Responsibilities:Lead requirements gathering, analysis and solution development for cloud-based DevOps solutionsPartner with project teams, functional architects, systems specialists, and other technical resourcesDeveloper Threat Models and Security ArchitectureOwn DevSecOps security strategyBuild out automation, CI/CD pipeline and work with various monitoring toolsUnderstanding risk management and the security of systems/data.Assume responsibility for technical presentations, and technical deliverables.Mentor and provide technical oversight and guidance to implementation teams while working in a coordinated manner to deliver and deploy the designed architectureProvide Cloud & Code thought leadership through publications and speaking engagements as neededSupport the development and growth of Modern Data Center Practice / DevOps TeamProfessional Qualifications:Working experience with Threat ModelingWorking experience with Security Integration and ControlsWorking experience with KubernetesWorking experience with Java/C#/Python/GO or other coding languageWorking experience CI/CD and General understanding of various tools associated with it. General knowledge of Security, Authentication, MFA, Authorization, B2C, Data Privacy, Identity and Access Management (IAM), Cryptography / Key Management, Access Controls and Security Protocols a plusEducation and Experience:You have 5+ years overall industry experienceYou have 2+ years of experience with demonstrated Cloud architecture projects and deployments (GCP, AWS or Azure)You have 3+ years of experience with cybersecurity, vulnerability management, product security and complianceYou have 1+ years of experience across the business development life cycle (i.e. Pre-Sales, Solution Architecture, Pricing, and Proposal Development)You have 1+ years of experience working with Kubernetes in productionComfortable working in an enterprise level environmentMid-level to Expert level experience with Terraform in Cloud EnvironmentsBachelors degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Information Systems or related field, or equivalent experienceTravel required:Travel typically 25% or more a monthThe salary range for this full-time position in the US is $150,000 - $200,000annually. Redapt salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The salary range displayed in each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Please note, the base pay offered may vary within the range depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to work location, job related knowledge/skills, relevant education/training, and level of experience.
