Join us and be part of a team that's shaping the future of energy while leaving a positive impact on the world.The Energy Analyst will be responsible for seeking new clientele, collecting data during on-site visits, evaluating recommendations for energy savings, processing rebates, and working with program managers to meet yearly goals. The Energy Analyst will also play a pivotal role in promoting and implementing energy-efficient programs, fostering collaboration with both internal and external teams, and ensuring effective communication between all stakeholders to drive energy-saving initiatives.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct outreach via cold calling and in person activities bringing in program participants into our programsPerform energy savings calculations for upgrading equipment, adding efficient controls, etc. to various end use equipment (i.e., lighting, HVAC, motors) using spreadsheets and other tools Conduct and/or coordinate facility site visitsWork directly with end use customers to identify, calculate, and communicate energy conservation opportunitiesProvide consistent customer contact and communication to ensure excellent ongoing customer service and satisfactionPre- and post-verification site visits for end-use customers to validate energy savings calculations Provide periodic reports to leads on project status and/or performanceTravel by car to customer sites, generally within 150 miles of the Chanhassen office (occasionally farther)Other activities as requested related to energy conservation, analysis, reporting, and customer serviceRequired SkillsHigh School Diploma or GED (General Educational Development) Equivalent AND Must be able to complete Proficiency test for discipline with a score of 70% or better AND 16 Units or More of Relevant Coursework Preferred - example(s): Environmental Studies, Business, Mechanical EngineeringIn lieu of education, must demonstrate 2 years of other work experience in any capacityPreferred Skills Experience recruiting applicants for program participation.Excellent skills with MS Word®, MS Excel®, MS PowerPoint®, MS Outlook®, Adobe Acrobat, and Windows® operating systems
