Doosan GridTech has an outstanding career opportunity for an experienced Project Manager to join our growing team. This position is based in the Tampa, Florida metropolitan area. Use your engineering and project management skills to help deliver next-generation distributed energy resource solutions for the electric power system, including energy storage and solar. See your solutions deployed with real-world customers incorporating distributed energy resources into the grid. Please note: Only candidates with United States Citizenship or lawfully authorized to work in the United States will be considered. We require strong construction management skills and experience with projects focusing on coordination and quality control of energy system construction. Possession of the desired qualifications is a strong plus. Required Qualifications Strong project management skills. Experience planning, organizing, and coordinating delivery requirements of major infrastructure projects. Ability to work with a small, fast-paced team to deliver customer value. Ability to coordinate effective labor resource plans, procurement, and delivery of materials to ensure project execution tracks closely to project forecasts and for timely delivery of services. Excellent ability to understand contract terms and conditions and adhere to obligations under the contract. Experience implementing site plan, coordinating with and supervising subtractors, managing project budget, and completing financial reporting. Experience reviewing the quality and progress of subcontractors work. Experience adhering to construction legislation and regulations and assessing risk/standards of performance. Experience creating effective and efficient project sign-off processes to ensure projects are finished on time and within budget. Experience with due diligence of performance of works. Strong collaborative and teamwork skills, with ability to work with a small, fast-paced team. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Commitment to professionalism and practicing prudent and informed decision making with all internal and external stakeholders. Proactive and innovative approach to problem solving. Conflict resolution and negotiation skills. Willingness to travel periodically. Desired Qualifications Proven experience as a Project Manager in the renewables or energy industry (ideally with an EPC organization or utility) Experience working with construction of electrical transmission & substation projects. PMP Certification. Experience with distributed energy resource (solar or energy storage) operations or interconnection within an electric utility. Experience with regulations pertaining to health, safety, and environmental issues. Knowledge of utility equipment specifications. Responsibilities Manage effective delivery of systems integration of megawatt-scale, grid-connected energy storage projects. Participate in qualification of requirements of new projects; evaluate against resources and budget. Participate in performing due diligence of technical requirements from developers, owners engineers, and lenders. Managers project execution to contracts, schedules, budgets, and determines resources required for the delivery of projects. Provide weekly and monthly reports on project progress, work with finance to perform budget forecasting, and develop risk and mitigation proposals to ensure delivery of projects within schedule and budget. Collaborate with vendors, partners, and members of the Doosan GridTech team to deliver solutions to customer problems. Create agendas for, schedule and lead meetings with customers and partners. Efficiently and effectively track issues throughout the life of active projects. Manage the change order process with customers and vendors. Qualifications Must have proven project management experience in renewables or energy industry.
