Project Manager - Marine (Florida & Texas)Location: Fort Lauderdale, FLSalary: $165,000We are urgently seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager with a robust background in Marine & Infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years of experience managing large-scale infrastructure developments (Port, Pier, Dock, Marina structures, Seawalls) and be prepared to lead major projects across both Florida and Texas. These projects will require travel and are key to shaping critical marine works.Our client has a distinguished 40+ year history in providing specialty marine, heavy highway, and deep foundation construction services, and they are looking for a Project Manager to join their team and help deliver high-profile, complex projects across the region.Overview:As the Construction Lead, you will act as the primary point of contact between project ownership, consultants, and the Construction Contractor(s). Your leadership will be crucial to ensuring that project objectives are met on time and within budget. You will have a deep understanding of the project's scope, commercial aspects, and technical details to make informed decisions that add value for both the client and our company.This is a hands-on role where you'll lead from the front and work to ensure projects are delivered to the highest standards. You will also embody and uphold the core values of integrity, client service, teamwork, innovation, and commitment, ensuring that these values permeate throughout your work and the work of your team.Responsibilities:Oversee the interface between project ownership and delivery, ensuring smooth communication and alignment between all parties.Manage large-scale marine and infrastructure projects, with a focus on ensuring the timely and successful delivery of works, including utilities, roads, bridges, landscaping, and marine structures.Lead and coordinate building services designs between engineering, architectural, and civil/structural teams.Ensure quality management principles are applied and risk assessments are conducted at every stage of the project.Provide strategic planning advice for phasing, sequencing, and necessary authority approvals.Supervise and manage project tendering processes, including documentation, assessments, negotiations, and the awarding of contracts.Lead coordination meetings with stakeholders and subcontractors, resolving site planning and technical issues.Ensure that all site works are completed in accordance with project specifications, design, and quality requirements.Drive the continuous improvement of company systems and processes, promoting a culture of excellence.Skills & Attributes:Proven leadership and people management skills.Strong commercial acumen with the ability to negotiate, influence, and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.Ability to think strategically while maintaining a focus on delivery.Solid knowledge of risk management processes and the ability to make data-driven decisions.A deep understanding of infrastructure and marine works, particularly in the analysis and design of port, pier, dock, or marina structures, with a focus on quality and safety.Minimum Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related building services discipline.At least 10 years of post-qualification experience in project management, with a minimum of 5 years in a Senior Project Management role.Extensive experience in marine and infrastructure projects, especially large-scale retail or mixed-use developments.Proven experience in the analysis and design of port, pier, dock, or marina structures.Proven track record managing projects from inception to completion.Flexibility to travel within Florida and Texas as required by the project scope.How to apply:To hear more about the role please feel free to call Scott on +1 (321) 300-0608Additionally email me your up-to-date resume to scott@Furthermore, please send a connection request on LinkedIn to view further Construction roles across Florida.
