MDU Coordinator

Our client is seeking an experienced MDU Fiber Construction Coordinator for an exciting long-term contract opportunity covering the panhandle (Fort Walton). This person must sit in market or be able to relocate or be in market as needed at their own expense.Overall Purpose:Oversees the coordination of all operational activities related to MDU fiber construction projects. Responsible for managing Lifecycle Vendor relationships, negotiating contracts, evaluating vendor performance, and streamlining processes. This role will oversee supplier relationships, ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies and play a critical role in optimizing operations and driving results. Daily site visits are required, and candidate must reside in assigned market.Roles & Responsibilities:Responsible for the overall deployment of fiber optic networks in the MDU residential environmentOversee, track, and report on the progress and quality of work being performed by construction contractors.Oversee and implement Quality Assurance procedures for independent contractors and insourced personnel to ensure the accuracy and quality of a project launch.Establish profitability goals and strategiesExecute implementation plans for MDU construction projectsAct as a liaison with customers and inspections to ensure project requirements and timelines are metOversee and implement Quality Assurance procedures for independent contractors and insourced personnel to ensure the accuracy and quality of a project launch.Order, track, schedule, and coordinate all aspects of new construction jobsCoordinate/manage locate companies, DOT and power companies as needed to achieve objectivesPerform other duties as required and assigned by managementSkills &Requirements:5+ years of relevant experience required to include experience with fiber optic networks and OSP/ISP constructionPrevious experience in MDU project coordination or related fieldAbility to appropriately prioritize and manage multiple requests at once and consistently meet deadlinesExcellent organizational and multitasking abilitiesFamiliarity with construction processes and technical aspects of MDU projectsAbility to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently and effectivelyMust be highly independent, self-starter, self-motivatedAbility to work in dynamic and constantly changing environmentsAbility to establish and maintainpositive relationships with vendors and internal partnersMust have strong attention to detail and highly organizedExceptional written and verbal communication skillsMust have confidence to make and support recommendationsPay Range: $45/HR depending on experience. The specific compensation for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role as well as the cost of labor in the market; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment.
