Epitec Project Manager (Business Strategy)Contract Duration: 6 months - long term Location: Plano, TXSchedule: Fully OnsiteJob DescriptionTop Skills:Project Management SkillsCross Functional CommunicationChange Management ExperiencePosition Summary The Project Manager, Business Strategy will be responsible for managing day-to-day functional operations related to internal business operations, high-level cross-functional meetings, project management, budget analysis, and rhythm of business operations. The position focuses on business planning and the corresponding attainment of the assigned sales goals.Key Responsibilities/Requirements:Manage Product Management planning activities including quarterly commercial deal planning (QCD), Executive Briefings, Product Readouts, and task forces.Ensure planning activities are aligned with target planning process monthly.Communicate professional emails to account team, internal teams, and headquarters, articulating complex updates in a simplified way.Communicate face-to-face and asynchronously with Product Management and Cross Functional teams.Develop and maintain excellent new and existing working relationships with multiple stakeholder levels within and outside the company.Drive success in a highly dynamic, deadline-driven, matrix-management environment.Leverage Project Management skills, including the ability to plan, organize, and prioritize multiple assignments and projects, and discerning the level of attention to each as priorities change.Read and interpret reports, sales and marketing documents, invoices, contracts, or related documents for insights and action plan development.Initiate, develop, coordinate, and implement strategic project plans while planning for risks and opportunities for the operational model.Required Qualifications:Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university required; Advanced degree preferred.4+ years of experience in telecommunications, CPG, and/or retail industry supply chain, business, finance, and sales operations management.Advanced Excel skills.Minimum of 5 years of experience in building a function responsible for developing, compiling, and presenting product plans, delivery, and logistics schedules.Strong analytical and Excel skills a must.High energy and ability to learn quickly.Can work under varying work pressures, flexible.Fluent in reading, writing, and verbal communications in English and Global HQ, and in the translation of documents and information to and from each language.Experience researching and resolving customer product development, launch, delivery, and logistics issues.Experience developing presentations using a variety of Global HQ and English PC applications methods, including word-processing and spreadsheet software.Strong desire to work in a highly collaborative environment, walks around the office and does not become chained to desk.Preferred Qualifications:At least 2-5 years of work experience in data & analytics, marketing, business program and process management, communications, and/or sales operations.A Bachelors degree in business management, marketing, finance, or accounting is preferred, or equivalent industry experience.Proven track record of driving successful product or program launches, communication & conflict management, company culture, and engagement.Implemented and managed the appropriate programs, policies, and processes necessary to support a business driving to specific metrics and discipline.Strong planning and operations skills.Outstanding time management, attention to accuracy/detail, organizational, and communication skills (both written and verbal).Business acumen, short/long-range project planning execution.Understanding of product launch processes and product development cycles.A proven self-starter, good business judgment, and outstanding collaborative ability.Necessary Skills & Attributes:The ability to develop and maintain excellent new and existing working relationships with multiple stakeholder levels within and outside the company.Proven success in a highly dynamic, deadline-driven, matrix-management environment.Project Management skills, including the ability to plan, organize, and prioritize multiple assignments and projects, and discerning the level of attention to each as priorities change.Process Engineering / Business Transformation / Change Management experience.Should have advanced MS Excel and MS PowerPoint knowledge and skills. Knowledge of SharePoint, Confluence, and Jira is a plus.Demonstrated competency in both oral and written communication modes for both internal and external personnel at various levels.The ability to work either independently or in a team environment to achieve personal and team project goals, including the completion of assignments within and exceeding established time frames. A strong influencer with the relevant skills.The ability to complete tasks and work assignments, based on sometimes vaguely defined objectives.Physical/Mental Demands and Working Conditions:Work is generally performed in an office environment, with event and field activities as applicable.Operate a computer keyboard and view a video display terminal 50% of work time, including prolonged periods of time.The movement and transportation of equipment, most of the time under 25 pounds.Performs work under time schedules and stresses which are normally periodic or cyclical, including time-sensitive job stress, fatigue, intellectual challenge, constant technical data feedback, language barriers, and business management stress.Machines, tools, equipment, and work aids representative and commonly associated with PCs, printers, and office work areas.Under minimal supervision with a high level of responsibility to apply general policies and guidelines across the business where decisions are seldom monitored and consequences of decisions adversely affect operating results and management decisions.Access to confidential company data where disclosure may jeopardize the company's competitive position.
