The Manager of Member Experience-Business Development role requires a motivated and organized sales professional, eager to make a difference. This position is instrumental in delivering top-tier sales growth and providing exemplary customer service that drives the most satisfactory experience possible to ensure member retention. By championing a positive brand image, the Manager of Member Experience-Business Development contributes to overall organization growth and fosters meaningful experiences for OHI members.Essential Duties and Responsibilities· Relationship Builder: As the primary supplier membership salesperson (and chief prospector), you connect effortlessly with everyone you talk to.· Prospecting: Manage and grow a list of prospective supplier members, research the companies, find points of contact, and develop a strategy for successfully bringing the business into the membership through direct engagement.· Sales Conversion: Responsible for the acquisition of new supplier members, based on your proven abilities to execute membership acquisition strategies. You understand success in numbers. The sky's the limit!· Sponsorship/Expo Sales: OHI hosts a variety of events throughout the year, including the outdoor hospitality industry's largest Expo. These events have a variety of exhibition and sponsorship opportunities this role would be in charge of selling. And we're all about making our events even bigger each year, so you'd be charged with growth. Just like with membership, the sky's the limit!· Manage Member Experience: The growth of our organization depends on building and maintaining positive member experiences. Once a new supplier member joins or an existing member rejoins, the Coordinator of Member Experience steps in to be the main point of contact for the member, allowing your role to focus on prospecting and conversions. Growth, growth, growth!· Technology Utilization: Utilize and maintain organization technology platforms to enable effective collaboration with the team in a remote environment. You understand this helps maintain data integrity, accuracy, and compliance.· Customer Service: Perform time-sensitive customer service tasks such as email management, online troubleshooting, membership verification, fulfillment of requests, and inquiry resolution. Partner with appropriate team members as necessary to escalate and/or ensure timely resolution. We can't grow if we aren't providing an amazing experience that proves our value!· Benefits Promotion: Understand and promote the organizations member benefits as a part of the selling process, effectively communicating their value and applicability. Recommend improvements to member benefit options based on member needs. We're always trying to increase the value of membership!· Strategic Improvements: Collaborate with team managers to plan and implement efficiencies to processes, enhancing the overall member experience.· Collaborative Support: Proactively collaborate within the organization, assisting and supporting as necessary.Benefits· 4/10 Work Schedule (Fridays off! Experience in hospitality sales, specifically the RV park, campground, or outdoor hospitality industry preferred. · Preferred minimum 2 years of experience in a trade association, membership organization, or nonprofit. · Experience with inbound communication platforms and CRM tools required.· Post-secondary education preferred. Critical Skill Requirement:· Probably the most important skill for this job is ATTENTION TO DETAIL! Do you have it? You have notes on everything. You believe that getting all possible customer data (contact tracking, task management, licensing, etc.) into a CRM system in a timely manner is critical to cross-functional visibility of status, as well as meeting goals and objectives.
