A law firm we are representing is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Experienced Legal Secretary to join their dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in legal administrative support, document preparation, and case management. This position requires exceptional multitasking skills, the ability to handle confidential information with discretion, and a keen understanding of legal procedures and office management.Key Responsibilities:Provide high-level administrative support to attorneys and legal teams.Draft, proofread, and format legal documents, correspondence, and reports.Manage attorney calendars, schedule meetings, and coordinate travel arrangements.Handle client communications, including answering calls, responding to inquiries, and providing case status updates.Maintain and organize case files, ensuring all documentation is up to date and easily accessible.Assist in the preparation of legal filings and ensure timely submission to courts and agencies.Coordinate with courts, government agencies, and opposing counsel as necessary.Conduct basic legal research and compile relevant case materials.Ensure compliance with legal procedures and deadlines.Assist with administrative duties, including billing, file management, and report generation.Qualifications:Associates degree or Legal Secretary certification preferredProficiency in legal document management and case management software.Strong understanding of legal terminology, principles, and office procedures.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.High level of discretion and professionalism when handling sensitive information.Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other legal software.All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, national origin, age, ancestry, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, marital status, disability, medical condition, genetic information, pregnancy, or military or veteran status.
