For other roles check out CFP Service Advisor - Financial PlanningPosition Overview:The Service Advisor plays a crucial role in managing and servicing a subset of United's clients, assisting in financial planning, and supporting business growth through warm prospect conversations. This role offers significant growth potential, with future opportunities to:Transition into a Lead Advisor, working with a Client Service Associate (CSA) and Service Advisor to manage client relationships.Manage a team of advisors as the firm continues to expand.Key ResponsibilitiesClient Relationship ManagementManage and maintain strong relationships with a subset of firms clients.Provide exceptional financial planning and client service, ensuring client needs are met efficiently.Financial Planning & Business DevelopmentConduct warm prospect introduction calls and close clients for one-time financial plans (no cold outreach required).Build, present, and deliver tailored financial plans to new clients.Convert one-time planning clients into ongoing wealth management or subscription clients.Support for Lead Advisor & Firm GrowthAssist the Lead Advisor/Owner with servicing high-value clients, including email delegation, responding to quick inquiries, and administrative support.Help refine and enhance the firms financial planning process.QualificationsExperience & CertificationsMinimum of 5+ years of experience as a Financial Planner.Certified Financial Planner (CFP) certification is REQUIRED.CPA, Enrolled Agent, or CFA designation is a plus.Experience in investment management or tax planning is highly desirable.Skills & AttributesStrong client relationship management and communication skills.Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within a team.Interest in professional growth with the flexibility to:Become a Lead Advisor, working with a CSA and Service Advisor to develop business and maintain client relationships.Step into a management role, leading Service Advisors and CSAs while overseeing the financial planning process.Advisors with an existing client base are strongly encouraged to apply (high revenue share for clients transitioned in year one).Why Join Us?Competitive compensation with performance-based incentives.Career growth opportunities, including leadership roles.A collaborative, client-first culture with no cold outreach required.Direct engagement with high-net-worth clients and complex financial planning cases.Integrated service model combining financial planning, investment management, and tax strategies.High revenue share for advisors transitioning clients in their first year.Hybrid work schedule after the first 60 days - remote Mondays and Fridays.Professional coaching for all advisors to support career development.No cold business development requirements, but excellent incentives for independently sourced new clients.
