Field Service Technician

Travel to customer sites approximately 15% of the month on average, depending on project needs.Quality inspection of parts using laser measurement systems (Laser tracker, Laser scanner and other inspection equipment)Collect data and create calibration reportsPlace, level, anchor other related equipment (Manipulators, ALM positioners)Perform accurate measurements using tape measure, laser level, machinists levelMaintain organized tool box, maintain tools, maintain hardware. Manage inventory of new consumables, hardware, replacement toolsCommunicate professionally regarding the services performedWhen not traveling, you will work onsite at the facility assisting the Sales and Engineering departments with special projects and continuous improvement initiativesWhat we need from you to ** 3+ years working independently and problem-solving in mechanical and/or industrial maintenance or a related technical role; hands-on experience in welding, fabrication or electrical a plusEducation in Manufacturing Technology, Industrial Technology or a related field a plusUnderstanding of shop math/ability to convert to/from metricExperience working with drawings and specifications.Mechanically inclined/technology savvy. Strong electro-mechanical skills are a plusAbility to troubleshoot and resolve problems with minimal instructionQuality focused/shows pride in workmanshipGood verbal/written skills for interactions with customers§Ability to lift 50 lbs ( WE DO NOT ANSWER STAFFING AGENCY CALLS )
