What You'll DoLead Design & ***** Develop and refine structural systems for mobile robots, from concept to production.Analysis & ***** Conduct FEA, tolerance analysis, and other evaluations to enhance performance, cost-effectiveness, and manufacturability.Cross-Functional ***** Partner with electrical, software, controls, manufacturing, and quality teams to ensure seamless system integration.***** Identify design challenges, implement solutions, and drive continuous product improvements.Technical ***** Convey complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences while fostering a collaborative, knowledge-sharing environment.Hands-On ***** Engage in prototyping, testing, and refining designs.***** Create precise dimensional drawings following ANSI Y14.5 standards with GD&T, manage BOMs, and process ECOs in PLM.***** Up to 20% travel may be required.What You'll Need***** Bachelor's or higher in Mechanical Engineering.***** At least 8 years in mechanical design with a strong focus on electromechanical systems.Technical **Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks preferred).Experience with FEA tools (SolidWorks Simulation or Ansys preferred).Ability to select and integrate motors, sensors, and actuators.Familiarity with manufacturing processes like machining, casting, sheet metal, and plastics.Soft ** Strong problem-solving, analytical, and teamwork abilities.Preferred *****Industrial robotics, automation, or material handling.PLM systems.Design for manufacturing and assembly (DFMA).
