CONSTRUCTION PROJECT MANAGER - SENIOR ARCHITECT/ENGINEER Location: Nashville, TennesseeSalary Range: $115K - $125KSIRIS seeks a motivated Senior Architect/Engineer to join our team on a VA Medical Center Construction Program in Nashville, Tennessee. This position will report to the Program Director and collaborate with and assist VA client staff in providing data and generating reports.ResponsibilitiesThe Senior Architect/Engineer will lead a team of design, engineering, and construction professionals as well as act as the Owners representative from design through construction and closeout. The Senior Architect/Engineer will be required to learn, teach, and implement industry and SIRIS best practices related to project delivery, budget, schedule, quality, and operations in the healthcare environment. The Senior Architect/Engineer will require experience leading and mentoring a team of professionals and experience as an advisor/liaison with the client (user groups, design team, contractors, and facility engineering representatives). The Senior Architect/Engineer, along with other SIRIS program team members, will provide design and construction management services as part of traditional Design-Bid-Build and Design/Build contracts.A summary of the major tasks is as follows:Pre-Design/Design Phasei. Commissioningviii. Performing additional construction-related servicesix. Claims Analysis and Resolution ServicesQualificationsEducation: The senior Architect/Engineer shall be a licensed professional and hold a Bachelor of Architecture from an accredited school of higher education or a Bachelor of Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited school.Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in both design and construction with a focus on medical facilities.Knowledge: Able to quickly understand and masterRequirements of local state and federal jurisdictions in relation to the Project.Construction Contract Documents including Front End and Technical Specifications and Drawings to readily understand and assess the requirements.Working knowledge of engineering services, building codes, budgeting, and scheduling to lead to the projects success.Leadership: Must possess the skillset and competency to supervise and manage personnel of diverse skill sets.Preferred QualificationsExperience with managing project teams on Federal government projects.CCM, PMP certificationsLicensing: PE, AIA, or RA (any state)BenefitsMedical, Dental, Vision - 99% of the health premium base plan for individuals paid by the company and 50% base plan for family members paid by the company.401K with up to 4% company matchPaid Time OffAnnual bonus based upon individual and company performance.ABOUT SIRISSIRIS is a Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business that provides planning, design, and construction management project consulting.
