Sonia is a conversational AI for mental health.We are a research-focused YC-backed company working on making the highly complex implicit reasoning process of a top human therapist explicit. Our sole focus is on building a safe stand-alone AI based solution that we can prove to be as effective as the 99th percentile human. We are working a lot on post-training, fine-tuning, RL, synthetic data generation, prompting, memory architecture, voice engineering.There are multiple technical roles are hiring for. We are a fully in-person team in San Francisco working hard on one of the most meaningful problems in the world to make people happier at scale.
