We seek a highly skilled Senior ESS Engineer to join our growing team and play a key role in delivering cutting-edge energy solutions to our customers.Position *The Senior ESS Engineer will lead commercial and industrial energy storage projects design, integration, and commissioning. This role requires strong technical expertise, problem-solving abilities, and excellent communication skills to collaborate with internal teams, external partners, and customers.Key *ï‚· Engineering Documentation ** Maintain up-to-date manuals and internal and external documentation, ensuring accuracy and accessibility.ï‚· Technical Documentation & Customer Project ***** Develop and maintain wiring diagrams, schematics, technical reports, and project-specific documentation for customers to ensure seamless communication and integration.ï‚· Engineering Change ***** Oversee and implement engineering changes to improve product performance and reliability.ï‚· Technical ***** Lead discussions with customers, partners, and stakeholders to provide technical guidance and solutions.ï‚· Compliance & ***** Ensure products and systems comply with UL, IEEE, NEC, and other relevant industry standards.ï‚· Commissioning & ***** Provide technical support for the commissioning and troubleshooting of new installations.ï‚· Cross-functional ***** Work closely with R&D and engineering teams to integrate battery storage systems with solar PV, EV chargers, and other distributed energy resources.ï‚· Technical ***** Assist sales and project management teams with technical expertise throughout the project lifecycle.Required **Strong written and verbal communication skills.Bachelors or Master's degree in electrical engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field.5+ years of experience in energy storage, power systems, or related fields.Proficiency with ESS components, including inverters, BMS, EMS, and PCS.Proficiency with protection relays, particularly SEL products.Strong understanding of microgrids, grid-tied, and off-grid systems.Proficient in AutoCAD and other similar tools.Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.Preferred *Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification.Experience with energy storage projects in commercial and industrial sectors.Familiarity with UL, NEC, and other relevant industry standards.What We ****Competitive salary and performance-based incentives.Comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, and vision insurance.Opportunities for professional growth and development.Collaborative and innovative work environment.
