Electrical Engineer

Insight Global is currently hiring a highly skilled and experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to join a clients team based in San Antonio, TX. The ideal candidate will have a PE in Electrical Engineering and a minimum of 8+ years of experience in building and lighting design, with a strong emphasis on government lighting projects.**Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.Professional Engineer (PE) license in Electrical Engineering.Minimum of 8 years of experience in electrical engineering, with a focus on building and lighting design.Strong knowledge of electrical codes and standards.**• Developing technical requirements for renovation and new construction projects, guiding design proposals through facility walkthroughs and stakeholder engagements.• Creating, reviewing, and refining project documents including plans, BIM models, specifications, and statements of work.• Conducting technical reviews of design packages from external firms and preparing accurate cost estimates.
