NO CANDIDATES THAT REQUIRE SPONSORSHIP OR RELOCATIONJob Title:Distinguished Engineer- Multi-Cloud, Machine Learning, and Master Data ManagementJob Type: Full-Time, HYBRID in Houston, TXBase Salary: $160K-210K baseAbout the Role:As a Distinguished Engineer, you will be a key technical leader within our organization, driving innovation and excellence across our multi-cloud infrastructure, machine learning initiatives, and master data management strategies. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and optimize solutions that enhance our technological capabilities and business outcomes.Key Responsibilities:Lead strategy, architecture and implementation of innovative cloud edge and network solutions that are scalable, resilient and cost-effectiveLead the transition of existing infrastructure to cloud and edge environments, ensuring seamless migration and integrationDevelop technical roadmaps for cloud and infrastructure technologiesTechnical Leadership: Provide visionary leadership and strategic direction for AWS cloud infrastructure, machine learning projects, and master data management.Cloud Architecture: Design, implement, and maintain scalable and secure cloud infrastructure using AWS services.Machine Learning: Develop and deploy machine learning models to solve complex business problems, ensuring high performance and scalability.Data Management: Oversee the design and implementation of master data management solutions to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and accessibility.Innovation: Drive innovation by staying current with emerging technologies and trends, and prototyping new solutions.Collaboration: Work closely with developers, data scientists, product managers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions.Mentorship: Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.Quality Assurance: Ensure the quality of technical design and implementation, focusing on performance, scalability, and operability.Qualifications:Technical Skills:Expertise in AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, SageMaker).Proficiency in machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch).Strong knowledge of data management principles and tools (e.g., MDM, ETL processes).Experience with programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala.Experience: 10+ years of experience in software engineering, with a focus on multi-cloud or AWS cloud services, machine learning, and data management.Education: Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.Communication: Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.Preferred Qualifications:Certifications: AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified Machine Learning, or similar certifications and or Azure CertificationsPublications: Contributions to technical blogs, whitepapers, or research papers in relevant fields.Understanding and ability to leverage Opensource technologyData Science skillset is a bonusThe Distinguished Engineer reports directly to the CTO.This role acts as a bridge between the executive leadership and the technical teams, ensuring alignment with the companys strategic goals.The Distinguished Engineer leads and mentors a team of engineers, providing technical guidance and fostering innovation.
