We are currently seeking an experienced Process Quality Engineer in the Automotive Manufacturing Industry. This role plays a crucial part in solving complex problems arising from process/supplier issues and in continuously improving and monitoring quality processes. You will be responsible for implementing solutions under tight deadlines (8D, 5 Whys, 3/5 Panel) and assisting in the timely submission of Initial Sample Inspection Reports (ISIRs) to our customers.As a key player in quality management, you will lead a team to drive quality standards across our production processes, ensuring product consistency and customer satisfaction.Key Responsibilities:Design and implement quality standards for materials, equipment, and products.Develop, implement, and maintain quality control systems; ensure corrective actions are determined and followed through.Monitor, test, and report on the quality of products and processes to meet customer and industry standards.Lead all quality process activities, including daily operations, customer interaction, and product testing.Implement and audit corrective actions to address quality issues; use problem-solving methodologies (8D, 5 Whys, etc.).Work closely with customers, program management, design teams, and production to ensure the smooth launch of new programs.Resolve customer and supplier quality issues, ensuring they are addressed quickly and effectively.Lead the Top 3 Worst Supplier Strategy and administer RMAs for supplier issues.Perform supplier audits and collaborate with suppliers to ensure quality standards are met.Maintain KPI goals and track quality performance.Required Qualifications:Bachelors Degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Electrical Engineering.Minimum 5 years of experience in the Automotive Manufacturing Industry.At least 3 years of experience as a Quality Engineer.2 years of supervisory experience, managing teams of 30+ people.Expertise in Core Tools (SPC, MSA, PPAP, APQP).Strong experience with 5 Phases, Drill, Deep & Wide, and 8-D problem-solving tools.Knowledge of GD&T Drawing and its application in quality processes.Why Join Us?Competitive salary with relocation support.Full benefits package after 60 days and paid time off after 90 days.Opportunity to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment within the automotive industry.Location: Ellabell, GAType: Full-Time, Direct HireSalary Range: $65,000 - $74,000Relocation: Up to $10,000Benefits: Benefits available after 60 days, PTO after 90 daysSchedule: Day Shift (40-50 hours/week)Let me know if you need any adjustments!
