Structural Design Engineer

Seeeking a Mid to Senior Structural Engineer with experience in Renovation Projects for a Local Engineering Firm.Responsibilities:Interpret and understand construction documents.Calculate, prepare, and review construction estimates and related materials.Communicate effectively with contractors and owners.Prepare written reports, letters, field reports, and meeting minutes.Inspect existing field conditions and determine appropriate repairs.Ensure installed work conforms to design documents and direct contractor personnel as needed.Design and analyze structural components of buildings and other structures.Develop and analyze plans for static and dynamic loading to ensure structural integrity.Identify creative and efficient solutions to engineering challenges.Provide designs, drawings, specifications, and other technical submissions.Administer construction contracts and coordinate technical submissions prepared by others.Review and recommend approval of construction shop drawings, submittals, shoring plans, and design calculations.Salary and Benefits:Competitive salary based on experience.Paid vacations and holidays.401(k) plan.Medical and dental insurance.Flexible work hours.
