With a global team of over 4,000 highly skilled developers, consultants, analysts and product owners, we engineer technology that redefines industries and shapes the way people live.About the role:As a Senior Business Analyst, become a part of a cross-functional development team working with an American bank chartered in Texas. It has 155 branches and is one of the 60 largest banks in the US by total assets. This role has a hybrid mode with an expectation to visit the client in San Antonio 2-3 days per week.Responsibilities:Plan, estimate, and perform Business Analysis activities within all SDLC stagesFacilitate Core banking implementations and support migration for a successful go liveAbility to support banks post go live with the new services and features made availableSupport Testing across SIT and UAT phasesDefine business needs and objectivesEnsure stakeholders engagement and effective collaborationDefine the most applicable elicitation approach and use appropriate techniques and ensure effective usage of techniquesWork with all requirements types throughout the whole life cycle: from the idea to the acceptance and maintenance. Ensure requirements quality on the projectModel requirements by using the most applicable notation according to the project needsDefine Information Architecture for project documentation within the projectDefine or contribute to the solution roadmap definitionDefine and manage the solution scope to avoid scope creepManage the backlog: from the definition of "how" to its execution, perform backlog prioritization and refinementDefine Change management procedureCollaborate closely with the development teamEnsure requirements quality on the projectFacilitate Agile ceremonies according to the chosen development methodology and ensure their effectivenessDefine Business Analysis approaches and processes from scratch and implement ongoing improvements to the existing onesRequirements:We know that sometimes, you can't tick every box. We would still love to hear from you if you think you're a good fit!5-8 years of overall experience in business analysis space with a strong focus on financial services industryExperience of working on Core banking applications for at least 5 plus yearsHands on FIS Profile Core banking experienceSolid experience in UML and BPMN modeling (and ability to adjust modeling approach according to the project context)Proven ability to work with different groups of stakeholders along with experience in setting up stakeholder management approachComprehensive experience in setting up Business Analysis processes and approaches (in elicitation, decomposition, modeling, documentation, traceability, prioritization, and change management)Vast experience in setting up requirements life cycle managementHigh proficiency in requirements documentation, its structure definition, and templates creationAdvanced knowledge of how to manage a solution roadmap and experience in its definition (or contribution, at least)Expertise in product scope management and backlog managementSolid knowledge of Business analysis techniques and best practicesExperienced and flexible Agile practitioner focused on delivering valueAble to express ideas, thoughts, and questions simply, concisely, and in a structured wayAccountable for the own scope of work and follow the "said and done" principleEager to learn and grow: curios, keen to constant self-developmentProactive in efforts to deliver results according to expectations, as well as keen to suggest new ideas, looking for alternative solutionsCapable of assessing tasks of less experienced colleagues and providing constructive feedbackDesirable:Experience in Pre-sales, Discovery phases: having ownership of BA tasksTechnical knowledge and skills:Solid knowledge of major architectural typesPractical experience in working with main database types and writing queriesWhat`s in it for you?
