Trillium Construction is hiring for a Traveling Superintendent for a project in Indianapolis!Our client is a multidisciplinary construction firm who specializes in industrial, commercial, retail, senior living, restaurants, and special projects. They currently have a project in Indianapolis building and expanding a parking lot and need to bring on a Traveling Superintendent with site work experience. This is a direct hire opportunity with a salary of up to $115k plus per diem and full benefits. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in site preparation, grading, utilities installation, and infrastructure development, and will ensure all projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with safety and quality standards.Duties:-Supervise and coordinate all aspects of site work, including excavation, grading, utility installation, stormwater management, and concrete paving. Ensure projects meet design specifications and adhere to safety, quality, and environmental regulations.- Act as the primary point of contact for the project team, subcontractors, and clients. Manage and coordinate the activities of subcontractors, laborers, and vendors to ensure timely project delivery.-Oversee the scheduling and budgeting of site work tasks, making adjustments as necessary to prevent delays and cost overruns. Prepare reports on project progress, including timelines, resource allocation, and any potential risks.-Maintain accurate records of site activities, including daily logs, project reports, equipment usage, and change orders. Ensure all necessary paperwork is submitted on time and is in compliance with company procedures.- Maintain a high standard of work and quality. Ensure that the completed site work meets project specifications and local codes. Conduct thorough site inspections, resolving any issues promptly.Qualifications:-Minimum of 5 years of experience as a superintendent or foreman in site work or civil construction, with a focus on excavation, grading, utilities, stormwater management, and infrastructure.-OSHA 30-Strong knowledge of site work processes, materials, and equipment.-Ability to travel -Ability to read and interpret blueprints, construction drawings, and specifications.-Proficient with construction management software and project scheduling tools.
