If youre someone who prides themselves on doing things right and even considers yourself a bit of a perfectionist, AND are ready to hit the ground running, we want to hear from you!Primary Responsibilities: The Assistant Project Manager will assist the project team by overseeing the administrative, financial, and technical aspects of a project. This role will collaborate closely with our Project Managers to guarantee that projects are executed in alignment with contractual obligations, design specifications, budgetary constraints, and scheduling requirements.What's In It for YouBase salary depending on experience levelPerformance-based bonus opportunitiesInsurance: Health, Dental, and Vision after 90 days401K - company matches up to 3.5% (after one year)PTO: 15 days (eligible after 90 days)Paid Holidays (six total)A supportive, collaborative, awesome culture where people enjoy coming to workOpportunities for professional growth and development within the companyResponsibilities and DutiesSupport the Project Manager in successful project deliveryCommunicating with stakeholders about project needs and goalsContributing to project planning and developmentSupporting project coordination and managementAssist in the handling of permitting needsResearching information as requiredAssisting in the resolution of project issuesEnsure that required documentation is filedAssist in creating and managing project budget for all assigned projectsDevelop and maintain material tracking logsResearch, develop and write detailed RFI'sPerform detailed review and processing of project submittalsCoordinate with Design team for efficient responses to submittals and RFI'sCreate and maintain meeting agenda and meeting minutesPresent in weekly project status meetingsAssist with planning and managing site logisticsReceive and review/evaluate contractor quotations for changes and process change orders Update project schedule; ensure project quality control and establish overall project logisticsAssist with project forecasting and month end financial reportingManage changes and ensure proper distribution of construction documents and/or project scope to ensure that the most current documents are being usedCoordinate with project team to ensure materials are available when needed on siteReview and verify constructability of plans and specificationsContribute to the buy-out process by requesting and reviewing bids and aligning budgets as necessary to create subcontractsComplete other responsibilities as assignedQualificationsWell-organized, detail-oriented and ability to be self-directed to problem solve issuesStrong organizational skills applied to Document Control and Close OutSuperior communication skills, both verbal and writtenProficient with Microsoft Office and construction management software such as Bluebeam, and/or Microsoft Project2+ years in Commercial Construction2+ years of reading and understanding construction plans and drawings and the technical specifications associated with drawings. Able to outline specifications required for submission to clients and ensure submittals and shop drawings are approved.2+ Years of experience creating documentation such as RFIs, and client correspondence on issues related to the notification provisions in contracts2+ years preparing subcontract scopes and contracts2+ years experience with project close out2+ years working with cost control systems1+ year working with Microsoft ProjectWell-organized, detail-oriented and ability to be self-directed to problem solve issues
