HVAC EstimatorLocation: Fort Lauderdale, FLSalary: $100,000-$120,000 + BensOur client is a leading Mechanical Contractor / HVAC Services Provider with a 40-year history providing complete HVAC solutions, with a steadfast commitment to building lasting customer relationships based on trust and value.They are currently shortlisting for a Mechanical/HVAC Estimator who will be responsible for accurately estimating costs for mechanical systems, including ductwork, refrigerant piping, and chilled and condenser water systems. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with experience and an eye for detail to contribute to the future of HVAC projects.Key Responsibilities:Analyze project plans, specifications, and documents to prepare detailed cost estimates.Obtain and evaluate quotes from suppliers and subcontractors for competitive pricing.Perform material take-offs and labor cost assessments.Identify cost-saving opportunities and potential risks.Prepare bid proposals, budgets, and reports.Maintain an up-to-date database of labor and material costs.Assist in value engineering and alternative material selection.Qualifications:Proven experience as a Mechanical Estimator in the construction or mechanical contracting industry.Strong knowledge of HVAC systems and the ability to read technical drawings and blueprints.Excellent analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills.Strong communication skills and the ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).Familiarity with local building codes and regulations.Experience with commercial, industrial, or institutional projects is a plus.How to apply:To hear more about the Estimator role please feel free to call Scott on +1 (321) 300-0608Additionally email me your up-to-date resume to scott@Furthermore, please send a connection request on LinkedIn to view further Construction roles across Florida.
