Job Title: Technical Supervisor (Campus Facilities)Location: Santa Clara, CASalary: Up to $140,000 per annum + Overtime + Sign-On BonusPosition Overview:We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Technical Supervisor to oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of a large campus facility in Santa Clara, CA. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in maintaining and troubleshooting critical infrastructure systems, including Boilers, Chillers, Cooling Towers, Water Loops, and HVAC systems. Experience working in laboratory environments is also required. As a hands-on leader, you will guide a team of six technicians, ensuring smooth operations, compliance with safety standards, and the highest levels of service delivery. This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to make an impact in a dynamic, high-visibility campus environment.Key Responsibilities:Supervise a team of six maintenance technicians, ensuring the efficient and safe operation of all mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems across the campus.Provide hands-on technical expertise in the maintenance and troubleshooting of Boilers, Chillers, Cooling Towers, Water Loops, and HVAC systems.Manage preventative maintenance schedules, ensuring that systems are regularly serviced and remain in optimal working condition.Lead and oversee the execution of complex technical tasks and emergency repairs, providing direction to the team and ensuring high-quality service.Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that all systems meet the operational needs of the campus, including laboratory facilities.Implement best practices for system operations, energy efficiency, and safety compliance, maintaining accurate records of all activities and repairs.Foster a culture of continuous improvement, training, and development within the maintenance team to ensure the team's technical capabilities remain high.Act as the main point of contact for any facility-related emergencies, troubleshooting issues and providing solutions in real-time.Coordinate with vendors and service providers as necessary for specialized maintenance and repairs.Required Qualifications:Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience working in a campus or similar large-scale facility environment.Strong knowledge and practical experience with Boilers, Chillers, Cooling Towers, Water Loops, HVAC systems, and laboratory equipment.Proven experience leading a team of technicians in a maintenance or facilities environment.Ability to diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical issues across a variety of systems.Excellent communication and leadership skills to effectively manage a team and collaborate with internal stakeholders.Strong understanding of safety protocols and environmental regulations.Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.Preferred Qualifications:Certification in HVAC, Facilities Maintenance, or equivalent technical certification.Previous experience working in a laboratory or research-focused environment.Familiarity with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).Compensation and Benefits:Competitive salary up to $140,000 per year, commensurate with experience.Overtime opportunities for additional income.Sign-on bonus.Comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, and retirement plans.If you are an experienced technical professional with a strong background in campus facilities management and a passion for leading teams, we encourage you to apply.
