The below job opportunity is to one of Our clients who is a global leader in personal care and home fragrance, including top-selling collections for fine fragrance mist, body lotion and body cream, 3-wick candles, home fragrance diffusers and liquid hand soap.Job ***** IT Test Analyst - IT Applications - IT Test Analyst - IT Applications (POS/Web Tester)The Test Analyst role will be part of the Client QA Team.This is a position is part of a high performing quality assurance team participating in the delivery of quality software.The team works cross functional in an onshore/offshore model to support the testing activities.The position reports administratively to a QA Manager.This role is responsible for test preparation and test execution activites on projects.This role requires oversight from test lead and QA manager and will partner and collaborate with application teams.Roles & **Participates in functional and technical design reviews to ensure understanding of relevant business processes, technologies, and architectures.Creates or modifies test scenarios and test cases that are in alignment with functional requirements.Ensures appropriate test data is defined and available in the test environmentExecutes and statuses test cases, including proof of testing.Clearly document defects, and retests fixes in a timely manner in required test management tool.Effectively communication progress and status to test lead/manager.Deliver quality work to meet the needs of application teams and business partnersWork in a collaborative project environment with cross-functional teams.Assists in driving issues to closure.Complete assignments on time in accordance with the priorities identified by the test lead.**Retail experience preferred.Experience working on Point of Sale.Understanding of Software Development Lifecycle methodologies (Waterfall, Iterative, Agile).Experience working on projects with multiple teams and resources.Experience working in an onshore/offshore model.Understanding of test automation isExperience with HP ALM, JIRA, or other test and defect management tools.Organizational and planning skills.Strong interpersonal skills.Ability to collaborate and coordinate.Proactive participation in team environment.Strong documentation and communication skills.Takes pride in delivering quality work to meet the needs of clients and customers.TekWissen® Group is an equal opportunity employer supporting workforce diversity.
