Project Manager- Commercial Construction

CSG are partnered with a leading Midwest commercial construction general contractor, with expertise encompassing construction management, general construction and design/build.The firm have an established presence across 6 offices within the Midwest region, and are responsible for key projects within the healthcare, life sciences, food and beverage, technology and advanced manufacturing, athletics, corporate and education sectors.Our client is looking to hire an experience Project Manager in Columbus, Ohio to lead and manage all aspects of the construction process from planning through to completion.Key Responsibilities:Develop and manage detailed project schedules and budgets to ensure deadlines are met and costs are controlled.Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations and building codes.Coordinate and oversee work performed by subcontractors, vendors, and internal staff.Act as the primary point of contact for all project stakeholders, including clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors.Ensure effective communication and collaboration among team members.Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.Develop and manage project budgets, track expenditures, and ensure cost control.Enforce strict adherence to safety policies and procedures to create a safe working environment.Key RequirementsBachelors degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field (preferred).Minimum of 5 years of experience managing commercial construction projects.Strong understanding of construction methods, project management tools, and building codes.Excellent leadership and team management skills.Strong organizational and time-management abilities.Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.Project Management Professional (PMP) or similar certifications.OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety Certification.
