We're seeking an enthusiastic, results-driven Event Sales Coordinator to join our team and help us grow by booking more events and creating valuable relationships with potential clients.Job OverviewThe Event Sales Coordinator will be responsible for driving event bookings and sales at our venue. This role will involve actively prospecting, engaging with potential clients, and managing the sales process from initial inquiry through event consultation. The ideal candidate will be an effective communicator, highly organized, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.Key Responsibilities Lead Generation & Prospecting: Identify and target potential clients for events, including corporate groups and individuals looking for weddings or private gatherings.Sales Outreach: Cold calling, assisting with email campaigns, and networking to generate leads and interest in booking our venue for events.Client Consultations: Schedule and conduct tours of the venue, understand clients event needs, and work alongside our Event + Experience Designer to provide personalized solutions that align with their goals and budget.Proposal Creation & Negotiation: Support Event + Experience Designer by developing the initial customized event proposals, provide pricing, and negotiate contracts with clients.Follow-Up: Assist with systems to allow smoother follow-up process with past clients for repeat business and referrals.Event Coordination Support: Collaborate with the Event + Experience Designer to ensure seamless transitions from the sales process to the event consultation.Sales Reporting & CRM Management: Track sales activities, client interactions, and lead statuses using HubSpot and provide regular updates to the Business Development Manager.Customer Experience: Ensure every client receives excellent customer service throughout the sales process, creating a positive impression and building long-term business.Ideal Candidate BackgroundProven sales experience, ideally in event or venue sales, hospitality, or related industries for 2-4 years.Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage clients.Excellent organizational and time-management skills; ability to juggle multiple prospects and priorities.Proficiency with CRM software HubSpot or similar tools and Microsoft Office Suite.Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment.Positive attitude, problem-solving mindset, and a passion for creating memorable events.Flexibility to work some evenings or weekends as needed for client meetings.BenefitsOpportunity for career growth in the event and hospitality industry.A dynamic, fun, and collaborative work environment.Discounts on venue rentals for personal events.Hybrid work environmentUnlimited PTO11 annual holidaysMedical, dental, and vision insurance
