Electrical Design Engineer

Overview:We are seeking an experienced Electrical Designer to create and update 2D electrical schematics and wiring diagrams. The ideal candidate will also contribute to expanding our existing data library in SolidWorks Electrical.Key Responsibilities:Develop and modify 2D electrical drawings (schematics, wiring diagrams).Utilize SolidWorks Electrical (or AutoCAD Electrical, with training provided).Work on 3D CAD as needed (SolidWorks preferred, but experience with other parametric software like Creo or Inventor is acceptable).Support customer projects by generating accurate and detailed CAD electrical drawings.Maintain and expand the electrical component database.Collaborate with engineering, production, and purchasing teams to optimize designs.Ensure compliance with relevant codes and standards (NEC, UL 508A, IEC, etc.).Assist with product testing and troubleshooting.Qualifications:Two-year technical degree or equivalent experience.Five years of experience in electrical design.Proficiency in SolidWorks Electrical or AutoCAD Electrical.Understanding of electrical codes and wiring techniques.Experience with PLC programming and circuit tracing is a plus.Strong attention to detail and ability to produce accurate technical drawings.Effective communication and teamwork skills.
