Visit the Ventura Systems website.ABOUT THE POSITIONWe are seeking a Field Service Manager to develop, build, and maintain our growing service organization.This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in a hands-on leadership role and wants to make a lasting impact on a small but expanding company. You will be responsible for leading our Service Team, ensuring excellent customer service, and managing service contract budgets. The ultimate goal is to run an efficient, customer-focused service department that fosters long-term relationships and exceeds expectations.MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIESSupervisorOversee, manage, coach, and train service technicians, ensuring professional growth within the teamTravel to customer sites to assess and support the Field Service TeamManage workload distribution, overtime, and resource planning to optimize efficiencyDemonstrate outstanding customer service through maintenance of high quality and integrity at work environmentsDevelop strategies for improved efficiency, providing guidance and support to the teamMaintaining all field rules and responsibilities and ensuring the team adheres to the rulesInvestigate and resolve performance-related issues, ensuring continuous improvementConduct performance reviews and support professional development within the teamLead the planning, administration, and quality assurance processesSet goals and business objectives, working alongside the team to achieve themJob relatedReview projects, define the equipment and service scope with customer and sales department.Monitor project costs and overall profitabilitySupervise mechanical and electrical installation, monitor, and enforce scope as well as manage customer expectationsOversee equipment startup and commissioningObtain necessary inspection and customer sign-offs, ensuring smooth project completion and invoicingAddress customer inquiries, resolve issues proactively, and gather feedback for continuous improvement.Foster strong internal and external collaboration to enhance service delivery.Provide on-site training to customers as needed.YOUR SKILLS, TRAITS & STYLEMinimum of 2-5 years of field experience requiredProven leadership experience or demonstrated ability to lead teams effectivelyStrong technical expertise in electromechanical equipmentAbility to build and maintain relationships with customers, sales teams, and managementExcellent verbal and written communication skillsPrevious safety and/or hazmat training a plusValid drivers licenseFlexible schedule to accommodate customer and project needsSelf-motivated, proactive, and results-driven with a strong teamwork mentalityPassionate, dynamic, and eager to contribute to the growth of the companyWillingness to travel (~20%) and participate in a two-week training in the NetherlandsOn-site positionWHY JOIN VENTURA SYSTEMS?At Ventura Systems, we are passionate about what we do, and we are looking for someone who shares that passion.
