They are looking for a full-time Relay Settings Electrical Engineer to join their team in Baton Rouge, LA.Position Overview:The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in relay settings, a PE license, and expertise in working with Schweitzer relays, microprocessor-based, and electromechanical relays. This is an on-site position, requiring attendance at our Baton Rouge office five days a week.Key Responsibilities:Develop and implement relay settings for protection systems.Perform analysis, testing, and troubleshooting of protective relay systems.Work with Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories (SEL) relays.Handle both microprocessor-based and electromechanical relays.Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.Collaborate with other engineers and field teams to optimize system reliability.Requirements:Professional Engineer (PE) License is required.Minimum 5 years of experience in relay settings and power system protection.Hands-on experience with Schweitzer relays (SEL).Experience with both microprocessor-based and electromechanical relays.Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
