Recognized as one of Incs Best Workplaces of 2024, we foster a collaborative and dynamic work environment.We're looking for a Energy Engineer to support utility energy efficiency programs and conduct energy audits and retro-commissioning studies for commercial and industrial buildings. You'll identify energy efficiency measures, perform energy calculations, recommend automation system changes, and engage directly with clients. Projects also include demand response consulting and decarbonization advising.This is a great opportunity for an established Energy Engineer or an Engineer with a strong background in HVAC or Controls, looking to build out their experience and work at the heart of sustainable builds.Key Responsibilities:Conduct energy audits and retro-commissioning studies for commercial and industrial facilities.Identify and evaluate energy efficiency measures, including HVAC optimizations and control system improvements.Perform energy calculations and develop detailed project reports.Communicate findings and recommendations to clients through presentations and reports.Collaborate with clients, contractors, and building owners to implement energy solutions.Advise on electrification technologies, decarbonization strategies, and demand response initiatives.Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Building Systems Engineering (or related field).Proven experience in energy efficiency, HVAC operations, building energy investigations, or related fields.Strong communication skills, with the ability to present complex ideas clearly.Experience with retro-commissioning, ASHRAE level 2 energy audits, or custom rebate calculations would be desirablePE (Professional Engineer) license preferred but not required.A deep interest in energy efficiency, systems optimization, and sustainable engineering.Ready to make a difference in sustainable energy?Apply now and join us at the forefront of energy engineering!
