MathGPT.ai is seeking an outstanding Senior AI Software Engineer to join our talented team as we build a cutting-edge generative AI platform for teaching and learning"”MathGPT.ai, the most advanced Gen AI product in the market for math education. You'll work directly with the founder/VP of Engineering and a world-class team of technology industry veterans to create an AI education product that students love and instructors trust. While large language models (LLMs) are a key component, there is much more to our tech stack. Over time, the platform that powers MathGPT.ai, GELATO, will evolve to cover STEM and business subjects as well.The Core JobArchitect and build robust, scalable, and maintainable an AI powered tech stack, both backend, and light frontend.Utilize prompt engineering, fine tuned models, RL recipes developed by our R&D team and deploy cutting-edge AI methods such as multi-agent and multimodal LLM systems to build products. Leverage Cursor and AI coding models to be a 10x type engineerDesign and develop REST APIs to support various types of clients: mobile, web, SDK for 3rd party clients.Troubleshoot existing codebases, hunt down nasty bugs, and refactor tech debt as needed.Work closely with client teams, product design teams, and product managers to iterate quickly on new features and experiments.Participate in design discussions, code reviews, and group brainstorming sessions.Help turn our R&D team results into production-ready services.Deliver high-quality code following best practices for better performance, user experience, and reusability.Be capable of acting as a technical lead in the company.Must HaveBS or higher in Computer Science, Mathematics, or technical related fields.Experience with large language models such as DeepSeek, Open AI, Claude, LLama and Gemini like models.Experience programming with FastAPI, NodeJS, React.js.Experience with SQL databases, Nginx, and tools like Gulp, Grunt, Webpack.Experience designing and developing RESTful web services for mobile apps.Experience in Unit/Integration/E2E testing frameworks.Knowledge of server-side rendering.Experience in building real-time applications.Good knowledge of caching, speed optimization, and securities.Knowledge of user behavior tracking using analytics tools like Mixpanel, Google Analytics, etc.Stay up to date on the latest software engineering trends.Extra BonusExperience working on large-scale and high-traffic systems.Experience with Langchain, Langgraph and other LLM applications frameworksExperience in creating and using monorepos.Experience in using CI tools like Travis/Github Actions.Experience in deploying web applications to cloud platforms like GCP/AWS/Azure.Why you'll love working hereAmazing people: Work with the smartest and most hardworking professionals you've ever met.
