Job Description Position: QA Automation Engineer (Capital Market)Location : Minneapolis, Minnesota (3 Days a week onsite)Position Overview We are looking for a highly skilled Quality Assurance QA Engineer with extensive experience in manual and automation testing coupled with a solid understanding of Business Systems Analysis BSA principles The QA Engineer will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and functionality of our software products as well as contributing to the analysis and documentation of business requirements The ideal candidate should have at least 6 years of combined experience in QA and BSA rolesResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute manual and automated test plans test cases and test scripts to thoroughly test software applications and systemsPerform functional regression integration and acceptance testing to identify defects and ensure software qualityUtilize automation tools and frameworks eg Selenium Appium to streamline testing processes and increase test coverageCollaborate with business stakeholders to gather analyze and document business requirements user stories and acceptance criteriaTranslate business requirements into clear and comprehensive technical specifications for development teamsConduct exploratory testing and adhoc testing to identify edge cases and potential issuesDocument and track defects using issue tracking systems and work closely with development teams to ensure timely resolutionParticipate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning daily standups and sprint reviews providing input on testing efforts and progressProvide clear and concise feedback to stakeholders on the quality of software releases including risk assessment and recommendations for improvementsCollaborate with developers and other QA team members to ensure comprehensive test coverage and effective test strategiesQualificationsBachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology Business Administration or related fieldMinimum of 6 years of combined experience in Quality Assurance manual and automation testing and Business Systems Analysis rolesStrong understanding of software QA methodologies principles and best practicesProficiency in manual testing techniques and methodologies as well as experience in developing and maintaining automated test suitesHandson experience with automation tools and frameworks such as Selenium Appium or similarSolid understanding of Business Systems Analysis principles including requirements gathering analysis and documentationExperience translating business requirements into technical specifications and user storiesFamiliarity with Agile development methodologies including Scrum or KanbanExcellent analytical and problemsolving skills with a keen attention to detailStrong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively interact with crossfunctional teams and stakeholdersSkillsMandatory Skills : Capital Markets (incl.
