Building on more than 50 years of hardware and software connectivity know-how and with our relentless attention to quality, exclusive access to Qualcomm Atheros, NXP Gold Partner, and strategic partnerships with leading real-time operating system (RTOS) and semiconductor providers, we are a global leader in reliable Wi-Fi connectivity.Job OverviewSilex Technology America, Inc. is seeking a results-driven Strategic Sales Representative (SSR) to drive the growth of key product categories by expanding our Non-OEM business and increasing sales of our off-the-shelf technology solutions. In this role, you will proactively prospect, follow-up on leads, and build strong relationships with end users, system integrators, partners, and distributors to develop both immediate wins and long-term growth. Reporting to the Director of Sales, you will also identify and pursue potential OEM opportunities, focusing on standard product solutions while collaborating with the sales team on customization requests. this role requires a mix of B2B and B2C sales efforts, with a focus on securing repeatable, long-term business and driving year-over-year growth. The SSR will work cross-functionally to ensure customer success and contribute to overall business objectives.As a Product Sales Representative, you will play a crucial role in driving the growth of Silex Technology America, Inc. By joining our team, you will:Engage and convert inbound leads- Be the first point of contact to respond promptly to inquiries and support requests, ensuring potential customers receive the right solutions.Turn interest into action- Qualify leads, uncover customer needs, and demonstrate why our technology stands out from competitors.Drive new business opportunities- Take the initiative to prospect and conduct outbound outreach, including cold calling, to identify and generate opportunities within Non-OEM markets.Manage a balanced pipeline- Oversee both short-term wins and long-term revenue opportunities with end users, system integrators, partners, and distributors.Specialize in off-the-shelf solutions- Identify OEM opportunities and drive sales of standard product offerings while collaborating with the sales team on any customization requests.Negotiate and close impactful deals- Align customer needs with our product capabilities to secure long-term, repeatable business.Work cross-functionally for customer success- Partner with Technical Support and Field Application Engineering teams to resolve customer concerns and deliver seamless solutions.Ensure smooth sales operations- Communicate with internal teams to maintain inventory levels, meet customer demand, and drive efficiency.Strengthen and empower channel partners- Develop and train reseller sales teams, equipping them to become an extension of our sales force.Monitor performance and drive growth- Track sales metrics, meet activity goals to optimize outreach strategies, and contribute to year-over-year revenue expansion.Build lasting relationships- Cultivate trust and loyalty with customers and strategic partners through consistent engagement, ensuring ongoing business and future opportunities.Represent Silex at industry events- Attend trade shows and networking opportunities to expand market presence and uncover new leads.Required Skills and QualificationsBachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Electrical or Software Engineering, or equivalent education and experience.Minimum of 3 years in sales or business development; experience selling into the Hospital IT sector or electronic/networking equipment preferred.Proven ability to manage hybrid sales cycles (short-term and long-term) and successfully close deals.Strong track record of consistently meeting and exceeding sales goals.Demonstrates ability to learn and understand technical products quickly.Proficient in Microsoft 365 Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM software.Strong oral and written communication skills Location/TravelYou will report to our office in Santa Ana, California. This position primarily works in the company's Orange County office; however, some travel to visit customers, attend trade shows, or participate in industry events may be necessary for this position. Travel expectation up to 25% of the time.Compensation$60,000 - $80,000 plus commissions.
